$140 for a 50 minute session (standard)

$180 for a 90 minute intake appointment (standard)

I accept major credit cards, PayPal/Venmo and most HSA/FSA cards.


why i don’t take insurance

At this time, I do not accept insurance.  The reason for this is because not everyone has a diagnosis.  Most people who come to therapy simply feel stuck and want an alternative approach to move out of their situation.  Additionally, any diagnosis made through your insurance goes on your permanent record.  

This can impact your ability to get life insurance and can determine the type of health insurance you are qualified for (or denied from). I do not want a third party to determine or dictate your course of treatment.  You and I are the only ones in charge of that. 

I can, however, provide you with a Superbill for you to submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement.  This is essentially a giant receipt of services (usually submitted once per month) that you submit to your insurance and they may or may not reimburse you a certain percentage back.

Be aware that providing a Superbill to your insurance company will require a diagnosis.

If the Superbill reimbursement thing feels overwhelming, there’s an alternative option out there. A colleague of mine introduced me to www.getbetter.co which is an online service that will do the reimbursing process for you! The take 10% of whatever reimbursement you do get, but that 10% might just save you the headache of doing it yourself.

Policies

Cancellation and rescheduling: 48 hours notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment. If an appointment is cancelled in less than 48 hours, the appointment will be forfeited and charged the full rate. You will not be charged for late cancellations in the event of an emergency! I do my best to work with your schedule, so if an appointment needs to be rescheduled later in the week, I will only charge for that one session.

Payment: I require you to keep an active card on file. I will not charge your card if you prefer to pay in another method (paypal or venmo). If you do not show up to the appointment, or you cancel late, I charge your card the full fee of the session.
